For example, pro tennis isn’t done with us just yet….

Don’t give up on the Western & Southern Open just yet
For the last couple of months Cincinnati and Charlotte, NC have been in a tug of war over the popular Western and Southern Open tennis tournament which has called Cincinnati home for 124 years with 44 of those in Mason.
Then earlier this year the tournament organizers announced that they’re considering moving the tournament to Charlotte after it was bought by South Carolina-based Beemok Capital Group.
Charlotte immediately jumped at the opportunity and said they were prepared to move the tournament to a $400M for a state-of-the-art tennis facility, however, the move might not be set in stone.
This week Charlotte announced that they were ready to pay $20M to relocate the tournament, $17M short of the previously discussed number.
Warren County Commissioner Dave Young said the fight wasn’t over yet “It’s time for us to step up to the plate.”
Yong said he was very optimistic that a Cincy favorable agreement could be reached with Beemont Capital in the next couple of days, not weeks.
Don’t lose hope yet Cincy, we may just pull off a classic American comeback story!
