🪴 Fern (College Hill) offers a carefully edited selection of beautiful and unique objects along with a curated assortment of houseplants.

Their inventory includes tropical plants, succulents and cacti, airplants, a rotating collection of hand crafted planters, plant care tools, home goods, and our own in house made plant designs.

☕️ Mom ‘n ‘Em (Camp Washington or Madisonville) holds a very special place in our hearts, and has become one of our favorite places to grab a coffee and work during the week or just sit and read on a weekend.

Both locations have great outdoor spaces to enjoy the sun, eat some yummy food, and soak in all the good vibes.

🥐 Sebastian Bakehouse (Mariemont) was a 2024 discovery for us, and we’ve been changed for the better. They’re our current favorite pastries in Cincinnati, and some of the kindest people you’ll meet!

🍻 Northern Row Brewery (OTR) needs to be added to your summer list this year - they have great food, beer, and a large patio area to enjoy!

🍦 MINI SCOOPS

🛶 Sharon Woods lake to be drained for entirety of 2024

  • Sharon Lake will likely begin getting drained this week and will remain drained and closed until the fall of 2025.

  • The closure will allow updates to the lake which include a new wetland boardwalk, fishing pier and docks.

  • This update plan has been in place since 2017 and is part of a larger effort to improve ecological resiliency and sustainability.

☀️ Get ready for solar eclipse madness in Cincy

  • Officials are warning that the solar eclipse on April 8th will cause a ton of backups across the city

  • Cincinnati will experience a new 99.7% coverage, but that .03% is actually really important to seeing the sun’s corona.

  • If you’re traveling to get in the path of total coverage, plan for a lot more traffic than normal

  • Here are some events around the city to join!

🍷 Inaugural Spring Fling Wine Festival to take place on April 26

  • The first ever Spring Fling Wine Festival will take place at the end of this month at Somm Wine Bar in East Price Hill

  • You will have the chance to try 20 different wines from around the world

  • Ticket prices start at $40
