Queen Bey in the Queen City?
Beyonce originally had an upcoming show scheduled on August 3 in Pittsburgh, but it was recently cancelled due to logistics and scheduling issues.
Cincinnati is now hoping to woo Beyonce to come play at Paycor Stadium instead.
Hamilton County Board of Commissions President Alicia Reece says:
“Let’s go after that date for Beyonce. Both stadiums are available. I think it would be a very good positive if we’re able to do it. I think with the Taylor Swift momentum, I think we’ve got a good chance if it is at all possible."
The last time Beyonce put on a concert in Cincinnati was 2014 at Great American Ball Park.

Beyonce coming to Cincinnati doesn’t just benefit the people attending the concert.
This is a high interest artist who could bring a large economic impact to the city. We recently saw this happen with the Taylor Swift concert at the end of June this year.
Let’s briefly dive into some data on how the Taylor Swift concert impacted the city’s economy:
Hotels downtown were 98% booked for the weekend
$2 million in hotel revenue
$90 million to greater Cincinnati
created 900 jobs
Big artists scheduling Cincinnati in their tours means big bucks for the city, and there will be efforts to book more of these moving forward.
Reece explained that even if they’re not able to book Beyonce, they plan on using both Great American Ballpark and Paycor stadiums for more non-sport events in the future.
Beyonce, if you’re reading this, we’d love to have you.

Cincinnati Church House Goes Viral
If you choose to get distracted by ONE thing today, let this be it.
A historic church, now converted into a gorgeous $1.6m home, recently went viral on Zillow Gone Wild.
Zillow Gone Wild is a newsletter that shows the most wild listed homes across America.
The home was previously a Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist Church and is located in the West End, near TQL Stadium.
“Built in 1900, this church-turned-house recently sat vacant for over 10 years in extreme disrepair, according to the realtor. Their client purchased the church in 2021 and has spent two years bringing it back to life — a resurrection, if you will.” - Cincinnati CityBeat
There are a TON of pictures of the property available on the realtor site - and you’ll want to see all of them.
