Despite the late summer heat this week, it feels like it’s rained A LOT this summer, right? Well, that’s due to high pressure systems across the US & Canada which essentially “trapped” rain over the Ohio Valley all summer.
But it’s by far not the rainiest summer we’ve ever had. The record? 73.28 inches back in 2011! For contrast so far this year we’ve only had 33.78in.
