šŗ ITāS BREWERY SZN
Ever wish you could try every brewery in Cincy? Hereās how you can get pretty close.
In October, weāre hosting our second Brewery Battle and 12+ breweries have all joined the friendly competition!
If you havenāt done one of our battles yet, hereās how it works:
Find the Best: We curate 12+ breweries and each provides a draft beer for you to redeem with your pass
Try the Best: Visit as many breweries as you can from October 1 - 31
Vote the Best: Leave a review for each visit, help crown the winner
Early bird passes sold out in less than 24 hours, but you can still get your hands on a Battle Pass for just $25 which allows you to redeem one beer at each participating brewery through October.
This is a great way to get a beer at your favorite brewery, potentially discover your new favorite, AND support local businesses!
Grab your Brewery Battle pass here.

š¦ MINI SCOOPS
š Newport takes ownership of Purple People Bridge (previously under nonprofit ownership)
Newport officially now owns the Purple People Bridge (a pedestrian-only bridge linking Newport and Cincinnati) and is prioritizing fixing damage on the Cincinnati side that forced months of closure.
Theyāve already got temporary support in place, but want permanent repairs done, and are eyeing long-term plans like repainting and improving safety.
The city says structural work comes first, but after that, they want public input to shape how the bridge serves the community going forward.
ā¾ļø Reds Are One Step From the Postseason ā Wild Card Picture Explained
A wild card team is one that qualifies for the MLB playoffs without winning its division ā it's a second-chance route based on overall record.
The Reds have four games remaining: a threeāgame home series vs. the Pirates (SeptāÆ24, 25) and then a three-game road series at Milwaukee (SeptāÆ26, 27, 28).
After losing on Sept. 23, their record sits at 80ā77.
Theyāre locked in a tight Wild Card battle: the Mets are 81ā76, putting New York one game ahead. Cincinnati is tied with Arizona at 80ā77. The Reds still hold the tiebreaker over the Mets.
The Reds have some $8 tickets and discounted concessions available for the last 2 home games to try to fill the stadium
š Carroll Cropper Bridge Repair Kicks Into Final Phase with Scaffolding Approval
The Carroll Cropper Bridge, which spans the Ohio River between Kentucky and Indiana, just got final approval to install scaffolding ā the next big step in its repair process.
With scaffolding going up, crews will begin repairing the floor beams; these are among the last major tasks needed before the bridge is fully fixed.
The full project is expected to be done by Fall 2025, with all lanes reopening once the repairs are done.
