Cincinnati has two possible road upgrades in the works, and if approved they could redefine the city’s road network.
Central Parkway reimagined - The City of Cincinnati’s Department of Transportation and Engineering (DOTE) unveiled designs this week for an updated Central Parkway. The idea is to make the Parkway more pedestrian-friendly while enabling easier access to TQL Stadium and turning the corridor into a new entertainment district in the urban core.
Brent Spence Bridge alternative - a new bridge proposal could replace the aging Brent Spence and in doing so open up 30 acres of prime urban real estate in NKY and downtown Cincinnati.

Shake Shack Comes to Cincinnati

Shake Shack is finally coming to Cincinnati this fall, and it's set to open its doors near Liberty Center (West Chester). This marks the 9th Shake Shack in Ohio.
It’s set to open in the fall, but the exact opening date has not been announced.

Cincinnati’s Oktoberfest, the largest outside of Munich, is back this year and we finally have all the details!
This year Zinzinnati is coming back in a new location and bigger than ever with an extra day. The festivities will start at 4pm on Thursday, Sept. 14th, and continue through Sunday, Sept. 17th.
The event is moving from its usual space in The Banks to 5th Street between Main and Columbia Parkway.
You can look forward to nine entertainment areas with a large main stage, two beer gardens, five festival tents, and LED board to view the games happening during the jam-packed Cincinnati sports weekend.
When it comes to beer, Zinzinnati will feature over 40 types of German beers and wines, as well as local craft and domestic beers and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages.

🍻 Urban Artifact Brewing only US brewery to win a medal in Chinese beer competition. Cincinnati's Urban Artifact brewery stood out on the international stage, winning at the China International Beer Challenge. Their Gadget Fruit Tart earned a 3-star distinction, making them the sole U.S. brewery to triumph.
🔬 Covington, KY's OneNKY Center is set to shake things up with a cool $27 million project, bringing together seven business groups under one roof, including a Life Science Lab. This move is about to put Northern Kentucky on the map as a major pharmaceutical research hub.
✏️ Greater Cincinnati boasts four of Ohio's top five public high schools. Walnut Hills, Mariemont, Indian Hill, and Wyoming high schools secured top spots nationally. Rankings consider graduation rates, college-level exam scores, and state test results. Four others made Ohio's top 20. In Kentucky, Highlands High School and Beechwood High School ranked highly, with Campbell County High School in the top 20.
🧠 Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is about to drop a brand-new mental health facility for kids - the William K. Schubert, M.D., Mental Health Center. This facility, funded in part by a $30 million donation, makes it the largest inpatient children's hospital mental health provider in the U.S.
