It’s Chili Week Cincy

source Serious Eats

In Cincinnati, we love a good food-themed week.

We all know about the famous Taste of Cincinnati, but there’s also Cincy Burger Week and Wing Week. Well, guess what? We now have a Cincy Chili Week, and yes we are equally surprised that wasn’t a thing yet.

Cincinnati Chili Week is hosted by CityBeat and will run through this Sunday, February 25th. During the week you can get your chili fix for less than $7!

Participating restaurants include:

  • Blue Ash Chili

  • Camp Washington Chili

  • Dixie Chili

  • all Gold Star locations

  • Grub Local

  • Lucius Q

  • Sammy's Craft Burgers and Beer

  • The Chili Hut

More participating restaurants are expected to be announced throughout the week.

Obviously missing is Skyline, which is weird, but who knows they may join the lineup soon or are just too cool to participate 🤷‍♂️

The event even has an app - Cincinnati Chili Week, which has up-to-date information on participating restaurants and will allow you to track the number of restaurants you eat at during the week.

Eat at 4 or more places and you will be automatically entered to win prizes.

If you happen to be particularly competitive, and REALLY love chili, at the end of the week, the person who eats the most chili (and can prove it via the app) will be named Biggest Chili Lover in Cincinnati and awarded $300 among other prizes.
